Set stream properties

After you added the streams, you should define the state and composition of the Flash Inlet stream. Streams are defined by setting composition, temperature and pressure.

To set stream properties

Double click the inlet stream to show the stream properties.
Check the option Show All Data Items.
Values for black, blue and red Data Items can be set.
Click the left mouse button in the Value column in the H2O flow row. Enter a value for the H2O flow greater than 0. For this example set it to 5000.
Select the Temperature row. Enter a value between. For this example set it to 290 F.
Select and set the Pressure. Enter a value between. For this example set it to 44 psig.

Press Update to show updated values.

Press OK to update and exit.
The inlet stream's color changes from black (indicating no flow) to yellow. For details on the meaning of the stream colors, see the Stream Color Chart.
