This topic describes the necessary steps in order to install apiMAX.
Before you start the installation, make sure that you have downloaded the Installation Kit and you have received by email a Valid License File.
System Requirements
- Supported Operating Systems: Windows NT; Windows 2000 Service Pack 4; Windows XP Service Pack 2; Windows Server 2003
Service Pack 1; Windows Vista.
- Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 requires
Service Pack 6a.
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 or later is required. Install Internet Explorer 6.0 Service Pack 1.
Hardware Requirements
- The installation requires approximately 100 MB of hard disk space.
- Recommended Processors: CPU Intel Pentium 1.2 Gigahertz or better (or equivalent).
- RAM memory: 256MB of RAM.
- Network: ability to open a specific communication port on a Http or Tcp channel
- Updater requirements .
Instructions
- After you downloaded the Setup File from the Download Page, unzip the file and run the Setup.
- The application requires .NET Framework 1.1. If you do not have it already installed on your computer, the setup will install it.
- When .NET installation is completed, the system will restart.
- The apiMAX InstallShield Wizard will automatically launch after the system reboot.
- Click the Next button to continue with the installation.
- Agree with API License Agreement and then you will have to choose who is going to
use the application.
You can be the only one who use it, or you can allow everyone who uses the computer to use the application also.
- Press the Browse button and choose the folder where apiMAX will be installed.
- Press Next.
- The setup will complete the Installation Process.
- Press the Finish button to complete the Installation.
- In order to Runthe application select Start | Programs | American Process Inc | apiMAX.
